[Eugene, Oregon] – The Lane County Master Gardener™ Association Spring Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Lane County Event Center 796 W 13th Ave – Eugene, OR 97402 in Expo Hall 1, 2 & 3. You will find vegetable starts, herbs, beautiful hanging baskets for Mother’s Day, annuals, perennials, native plants, water plants, houseplants, bare root trees, shrubs, and more. We have plants that are propagated and grown by Master Gardeners according to “best practices” put in place by the OSU Extension Department in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Agriculture to help control invasive weeds, pests, and diseases from spreading throughout Oregon gardens, wholesale purchases, and donations from local nurseries all available at great prices.
The Master Gardener™ Mobile Plant Clinic will be on hand to assist with any gardening questions. Please check out what is happening at the OSU Extension Service in Lane County at this booth. Stop by the Book Sale to purchase a variety of gently used garden and cookbooks.
The Lane County Master Gardener™ Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises money to support the educational outreach of the OSU Master Gardeners™ in Lane County. The Master Gardener™ Program is taught by the OSU Extension Service, training individuals in the science and best practices of sustainable gardening. Master Gardener Volunteers teach gardening skills to our community through pruning and compost demonstrations, workshops, and talks on a myriad of gardening topics. They help Lane County gardeners with their gardening questions through the on-site Plant Clinic and the Mobile Plant Clinic. All these endeavors require many volunteer hours and quality materials to succeed. This plant sale will provide the funds needed to support the Master Gardener™ Program and other local community gardening programs.
