The communities of Oakridge and Westfir work closely together to support and enhance economic improvements.
Oakridge and Westfir are natural trail heads for outdoor adventures with abundant and easily-accessible forests, lakes, rivers and mountains.
The residents of these two close-knit communities have embraced recreational tourism to replace the lost logging industry. Local business owners and city representatives have rallied behind community beautification grants and projects, volunteer organizations that build and maintain trails, events and visitor programs like “We Speak” which emphasize customer service and sharing local knowledge.

Our Mission
The mission of the Oakridge / Westfir Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote and improve the business environment, stimulate a vibrant local economy, promote tourism and produce a cooperative effort to enhance the overall quality of life in the Oakridge / Westfir areas to their highest potential.
Business Advocacy
The Oakridge Westfir Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of business at our local level of government. Through our advocacy efforts, we ensure that the interests of the business community are represented as public policy is formed.
A chamber member attends every meeting of the Oakridge and Westfir City Councils, the Chamber Partners Committee and we send regular reports on our activities and projects to both cities. We are in regular communication with both the forest service and the Oakridge School District.
