Seed Saver’s WORKPARTY! Wednesday March 20th 3:30-5pm, at the Oakridge Library.
Come lend a hand restocking our Seed Library with another round of amazing heirloom seeds (varieties listed below!) on the first day of spring. Volunteers get to be the first to pick out their favorites!
The Seed Library is a free community resource, with non-gmo, organic, open-pollinated seeds from Seed Savers Exchange. Also featuring locally-adapted, climate resilient seeds brought in from local gardeners (like you!) and Adaptive Seeds (just to the north of us in Sweethome). Thank you for Upper Willamette Soil and Water Conservation District and the Oakridge Community Farmers Market for supporting local gardens!
As with all community resources, think: “Need Not Greed”. Just take what you know you’ll grow, and leave enough for Oakridge Westfir friends and neighbors.
